1. Perform the duties prescribed in the bylaws as follows:
   1. To work with the Sponsored Programs Office to promote faculty awareness of grant availability.
   2. To encourage faculty to apply for grants.
   3. To collaborate with the Sponsored Programs Office to develop workshops, seminars and symposia on grants.
   4. Members will utilize briefings and information from the Sponsored Programs Office, as well as other information that is available, to keep his/her department informed of all matters pertaining to fellowships and related workshops by posting appropriate announcement of the departmental bulletin board and by discussing grants issues at departmental meetings.
2. *Continue to promote and update online resources as needed.
3. *Work with the Administration in achieving Strategic Plan Objective 7.1a “Identify new and increase existing revenue streams, gifts, grants, scholarships and contracts consistent with academic freedom and integrity” and report to the Academic Senate on its progress.
